Rooted in the gardens of Assam, Dooars and Darjeeling.
Our founders were among the first Indians to take over tea plantations that had been under British ownership. Four generations later, tea remains the heart of the group — the business in which we learned to taste, blend and keep a promise.
Manufacturing in our gardens is adapted to the leaf harvested and the weather of the day, producing a wide range of speciality teas. In Kolkata, our blenders bring together estate, auction and origin teas — Indian, Ceylon, African and Vietnamese — into blends that taste the same from the first container to the hundredth.

Group estates
Gardens with character.
Each garden expresses its region: the delicacy of Darjeeling, the strength of Assam, the smooth body of the Dooars. The group’s oldest garden was first planted in 1841.
