Indian
Assam, Dooars, Darjeeling and South Indian teas — from our group’s gardens and India’s auction centres.

Saman Tea · Black tea
Two manufacturing traditions, one standard of selection. We source, blend and export both — from Indian gardens and the world’s major tea origins.
CTC
Crush-tear-curl manufacture produces small, even granules that brew fast into a strong, coloury cup — the backbone of tea bags, everyday blends and milk teas.
| Character | Strong, bright and full-bodied liquors with good colour |
|---|---|
| Typical origins | Assam, Dooars, South India, Kenya and wider East Africa |
| Grade families | Broken (BP, BOP), fannings (PF, OF) and dust grades |
| Best for | Tea bags, everyday loose blends, milk tea and chai, instant tea |

Orthodox
Rolled rather than cut, Orthodox teas keep more of the leaf’s structure — giving layered aromas, from the delicate flavour of Darjeeling to the malty depth of Assam.
| Character | Aromatic and nuanced, from delicate and flavoury to malty and bold |
|---|---|
| Typical origins | Darjeeling, Assam, South India, Sri Lanka and Vietnam |
| Grade families | Leaf (OP, OPA, Pekoe, FTGFOP and TGFOP styles), broken (BOP, FBOP) and fannings |
| Best for | Premium loose tea, speciality blends, tins and retail packs |
